‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’ Movie Review

A million ways

If you want to see a gross/rude comedy movie, then this is the film for you. There are a few laugh out loud scenes and pretty good consistent comedy scenes. I did find the movie to be a bit long (almost 2 hours) with a few scenes that tried hard to drag a joke out. Overall, it’s about laughs and not taking the “humor” seriously. Good ensemble cast with a few surprise cameos. There’s an END CREDIT SCENE after the screen goes to black.

‘Maleficent’ Movie Review

This is a “dark” spin on the fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. Overall, I did like the movie and the 3D (good and probably enjoyable in 2D as well). I wouldn’t encourage parents to take young children or children not exposed to dark magic/evil genre movies. Disney has once again done a good job portraying a fairy tale on the big screen. Angelina owns the character, Maleficent, as does Elle Fanning as, Aurora/Beastie. This is the first time I’ve seen a movie version of Sleeping Beauty….stay tuned to see if the fairy tale ends as we know it to be. Cute cameo of Angelina’s baby girl Vivienne.
