It’s time to shake your boov thang, lol. This movie is an instant classic. Fun characters and a funny family movie. DreamWorks always does a great job with the lush colors and 3D, both of which I enjoyed.

What a GREAT sequel! The action scenes and storyline were all good. I saw it in IMAX 3D and the screen was to say the least, very pretty, lol. I didn’t read the books and I don’t feel like I need to; I’m enjoying the big screen presentation of the books-to-film.

I enjoy a good action/crime/drama movie and this film had it’s highs and lows (with slow scenes). If you’re a Sean Penn fan, then I think you’ll find it mediocre at most. The storyline is not cut and dry so it was boring to me. Idris Elba is in the movie but it’s a really small part.

This story has been told many times and various different ways so I had no real expectations. I will say the lush colors and picturesque scenes were everything to anyone that loves this story. I wouldn’t be surprised if the costumes Director was nominated for an Oscar (a long time away from now, lol). Overall, I did really like it. I saw it in IMAX and it was really pretty 🙂

I am a big Liam Nieeson fan so I usually support all of his films. With ‘Taken 3’ still in theatres I thought this film would pretty much be the same, well I was pleasantly surprised! The storyline was so different that his normal kick-butt acting scenes were like I’ve never seen before, lol. Good cast and an overall pretty good drama/suspense film. I actually enjoyed this more than ‘Taken 3’. Common portrays a dark executioner and he pulls it off.

This movie is a fusion of ‘District 9’ and ‘Real Steel’. The humor throughout the movie is what kept my attention. Two of the characters have heavy accents and one is sub-titled, lol. There are subliminal messages (just like District 9). I was surprised that Hugh Jackman signed on to this movie since ‘Real Steel’ was green lit for a sequel, any whoot.

What a great wholesome family movie. This movie is based on a true story about several high school boys and their coach who slowly turns them into championship runners and brings them closer than even he could have ever imagined. Kevin Costner is 2 for 2 this year with great movies…the other is ‘Black or White’, I really loved that film.

Focus keeps you guessing the entire movie on who’s telling the truth. I enjoyed the ride of the romance and drama. This is a different kind of movie for Will and I liked him in it. It ends with a set up to a sequel. It’s the number one movie this weekend yet had a low box office.
