‘Big Stone Gap’ Movie Review

I like this genre of movie. There’s an ensemble cast that’s quite recognizable with a solid storyline (based on the book). Humor, romance and everything likeable about this movie set in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.

Honestly, this is such a depressing storyline that it’s hard to like the movie. I will say Michael Shannon delivers an impressive performance.

‘He Named Me Malala’ Movie Review

I wanted to learn about Malala’s journey and this film enlightened me about her. This movie is shot as a documentary that has animated scenes. She won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize. This movie is based on the book of the same name.

‘Pan’ Movie Review

Quite whimsical and enjoyable. This version of Peter Pan will definitely appeal to the younger at heart. I found learning of Peter Pan from a younger boy gave a different twist to this familiar story. Very colorful and fun to see in Read D 3D.
