‘Goosebumps’ Movie Review

Not being a follower of the “Goosebumps” books, I was pleasantly surprised to be pulled in as a fan of the movie. Lots of fun and humor; for the young at heart. I think fans of the books will be pleased. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see it in Real D 3-D (which I think is even more fun) but I really enjoy it. It kinda reminded me of ‘Jumanji’ and ‘Night at the Museum’.

‘Bridge of Spies’ Movie Review

Bridge of Spies banner

Based on a true story, here’s a compelling story of an American lawyer who ends up negotiating the final arrangements of a hostage transfer two-for-one….one Russian for two Americans. Tom Hanks portrays the American lawyer who is recruited by the CIA during the Cold War. The movie is long…a little slow and some accents are think yet the storyline held my attention.

‘Woodlawn’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of gifted high school football player who must learn to embrace his talent and his faith as he battles racial tensions on and off the field. What a great uplifting movie that is executive produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. This is a faith based movie that the entire family will enjoy watching. The lead character, Tony Nathan did go on to play professional football in the 80’s.
