What a funny parody of ’50 Shades of Grey’. I didn’t have high expectations for the storyline to be anything other than ridiculous yet the comedy is laugh out loud and nothing was over the top to make me zone out.

This movie is based on a true story that actually happened in Cape Cod in 1952. It’s really hard to imagine being in such a storm at sea and actually surviving. The movie is slow yet there are a few visually stunning scenes to watch (I saw it in 3D; no IMAX at the theatre I went to due to ‘Star Wars’ still making a lot of money). I thought the acting by particularly, Chris Pine and overall the entire cast could have been better yet overall the movie was okay.

What great add to this franchise….funny and entertaining all the way through. If you’re a fan, you’ll be pleased. Definitely for the young at heart. This is probably my favorite ‘Kung Fu Panda’. I saw it in 3D and it’s worth paying for.
