’45 Years’ Movie Review

45 Years poster

’45 Years’ wasn’t nominated for an Oscar yet this is a really good film! Charlotte Rampling gives a great performance of a wife who has been married for almost 45 years. Her husband learns that his first love’s body has been found and his emotions and coping with this information changes his marriage with his wife as they approach 45 years of being married. I think the reactions of fictional Kate Mercer are quite similar as to how any wife would react and feel.

‘Eddie the Eagle’ Movie Review

Eddie Eagle banner

This film is loosely based on a true story about Eddie, who was a sure underdog in being able to compete in the 1988 Olympics. He trained hard in ski jumping and much to everyone’s surprise he accomplished his goal! This is a heart warming and inspirational film.
