‘Captain Fantastic’ Movie Review

From watching the trailer I knew I wanted to see this movie. Well, I really liked this heartfelt movie about a very eccentric family. The six children are so smart in most things about life yet interaction with people in everyday life is something all of them lack. So much humor and an overall great film to check out. It’s a family movie yet it is rated R (nudity and language). What a sleeper hit.

‘Bad Moms’ Movie Review

What a fun yet raunchy movie for a girls night out! I laughed out loud a lot yet I missed so many jokes because the audience of women were so loud, smh. This movie is casted well and it’s an all together mature and fun movie to see. There’s a very sentimental mom/daughter post credit scene.

‘Jason Bourne’ Movie Review

Fans of this franchise have waited for the real Jason Bourne to return and he has with full octane action. I think it’s a great re-boot to the franchise as Bourne is trying to remember details of his past. Yes, it ended with a definite sequel promise.

‘Ice Age: Collision Course’ Movie Review

This movie is number 5 to the franchise. All of the favorite characters are back with more jokes to entertain the young at heart. Great family movie. I saw it in 3D and wouldn’t recommend the extra bucks for 3D.

‘Star Trek Beyond’ Movie Review

Storyline, check! Action scenes, check! I really enjoyed this new installment in the franchise (much better than the last). Although, not a deep storyline it was one I could follow and enjoy. I saw it in IMAX 3D and it was great. There’s a warm sentiment at the end to a classic character and a newer one.

‘Ghostbusters (2016)’ Movie Review

With all the great trailers I’m sure nostalgic fans of the original movie were wondering how would an all female lead cast compare to the 1984 classic. Well, I probably need to see the original again but I totally enjoyed this film. The storyline is fun and engaging and it’s absolutely gorgeous in IMAX 3D. This is my favorite Summertime popcorn movie, thus far. It was GEAT seeing a few faces from the original film and the 1989 sequel. There’s a cool music video and pic collage during the credits. Yes, there’s an end credit scene so enjoy the music and screen until the everything turns black.

Based on a true story and book of the same name this film delves into the true story about the money laundering scheme involving Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. Lots of humor although there are quite gory scenes.

‘The Secret Life of Pets’ Movie Review

To say the least I really enjoyed this movie. This is a sure fire hit for pet owners! I don’t have a pet but I found this movie to be so funny and enjoyable for all. There’s a quick end credit scene. I think there will be a sequel. I saw it in IMAX 3D and it was great! Enjoy it in that format if you can.

‘Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates’ Movie Review

From the trailers I expected to laugh yet I thought all of the funniest scenes were in the trailers and I was wrong. This is a funny popcorn summertime movie. Of course, there’s mature humor. Funny out takes at the end as well.
