‘Elle’ Movie Review

With actress, Isabelle Huppert winning early award show trophies, I thought this film was worth checking out. The initial premise of the storyline is dark and spooky (rape). As the storyline continues, the intent of darkness is a (wanted and unwanted) sexual game. The genre lists humor, which there was humor yet I didn’t like that the sex game/hunt was that of a violation.  Sub-titles the entire movie.

‘The Comedian’ Movie Review

I had no expectations of this movie which was a set up to like it. There’s a great ensemble cast with really good chemistry. We had a foul-mouth comedian with no boundaries once he gets started. He gets into a little trouble yet a new beginning is in front of him. It’s better than I thought it would be.

‘The Space Between Us’ Movie Review

What a cute teenage love story. Based on the book (that I didn’t read)I enjoyed this sorta sci-fi movie. I found scenes to be heartwarming and humorous with some sci-fi (which I love). I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a sequel yet I did expect that the ending would be more “expectant”.
