‘ Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Movie Review

Everything that fans of this franchise were waiting on, is delivered in this fifth edition.  There’s a storyline to follow with ALL the fantastic picturesque backdrops and characters!  Disney spared no expense in making everything that wasn’t real look real.  The IMAX 3D experience was fabulous.  Yes, there is an end credit scene giving a plot to the next film that I’m sure will happen in hopefully just a couple of years.

‘Baywatch’ Movie Review

This movie is just as cheesy as the television show was, lol.  There are portions that are meant to be a bit serious then it’s back to the cheesy rated R scenes.  Take nothing serious and you’ll enjoy the popcorn movie.  I didn’t wait until the screen turned black for an extra scene yet there are outtakes as soon as the movie ends.  Two cameos (that I noticed) from original actors from the television series.

Only children will really enjoy this movie.  This is a family movie but adults will have checked out early on.  Funny enough to hold children’s attention and adults if they’re bored.

‘Everything, Everything’ Movie Review

This is a coming of age movie in my opinion.  Based on the best seller novel (that I didn’t read) this movie’s demographic is tweens.   First love, first experience being in love and a controlling love are all explored in this movie.

‘Alien: Covenant’ Movie Review

This movie is sort of a nostalgic spoof of the original film from 1979.  The Alien is updated in a retro feeling movie yet the Alien(s) are very cgi looking unlike the scary Aliens in the classic.  The movie kept my interest and wasn’t that scary.  There is “no” end credit scene.  It was great in IMAX.

‘The Wall’ Movie Review

The Wall banner

Only one can imagine being caught behind a wall with a gunshot to your knee with an active sniper in front on you yet our military deal with situations like this.  There are only three actors (and who is only a voice) in most of the movie.  Very intense scenes.  You probably won’t like the ending…I didn’t.

‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ Movie Review

I feel like I need to see this one again.  The storyline jumped around and didn’t hold my attention.  There’s humor with the action and adventure (my favorite genres).  The 3D isn’t worth paying for.  The movie is a bit cheesy.

‘Snatched’ Movie Review

This movie is straight up funny! The storyline isn’t anything to follow detail to detail.  If you want to laugh out loud, this is the movie.  There’s a scene in jungle regarding a tapeworm…I laughed myself to tears.  Definitely not for children.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Movie Review

This is probably the most fun Marvel movie thus far.  Visually, this movie is stunning!  The sequel clears up the past of one of the Guardian.  There are lots of laughs.  I saw it in Dolby and it was fabulous!  I will see it again in IMAX 3D.  Wait there not two end credit scenes…there are five!!!!  Just stay until the screen turns black.  Also, Stan Lee has two scenes.
