‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ Movie Review

There are a couple twists to this film which initially seems to just be about a young man falling for his father’s mistress.  Yes, there’s a twisted “love” story yet there’s another story about love.

‘Birth of the Dragon’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts of Bruce Lee’s life and the fight between he and Master Wong Jack Man. Who won the fight has always been a mystery yet the fight did birth the dragon in Bruce Lee. I enjoyed the nostalgia of the kung fu fight scenes as I watched hem as a child.

‘All Saints’ Movie Review

This is definitely a heart warming faith based movie based on a true story. There’s a community effort to aid a failing church and it’s citizens by planting and cropping vegetables that can be sold to help refugees that recently located to the area.

‘Ingrid Goes West’ Movie Review

Well the lead actress, Aubrey Plaza who portrays Ingrid deserves an award nomination because she perfectly depicts a very annoying, pitiful and socially inept person. Ingrid is so easy to dislike in her schemes to befriend people and live a lie. There’s humor along the way and I did enjoy seeing O’Shea Jackson back on the big screen. Do know, this type of behavior is real and serious as suicide is attempted.  Elizabeth Olsen also stars in this film and it’s her second movie now show; check her out in ‘Wind River’…it’s a really great movie.

‘Good Time’ Movie Review

In my opinion, this is Robert Pattinson’s BEST film ever.  His acting, voice, and appearance are not what I’m used to seeing and it was all good.  The film is a hurried bank robbery and almost everything going wrong after that.

‘Leap’ Movie Review

If you have a future ballerina in your home, then this is a must see animated film.  The premise is about two orphans who are finding their purpose in life and dance is the dream for one of them.  Nice family movie.

‘Logan Lucky’ Movie Review

To say the least, this movie is funny and stupid at the same time. The journey that these men take to rob Nascar during a race is well planned…or is it? There’s a hilarious scene about #GameOfThrones.

‘Wind River’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts, this murder mystery will keep you engaged the entire time with great acting and chemistry of the actors. The premise is to find out who killed a young woman found frozen in the snow…barefoot in the mountains. Some scenes are gory to watch yet it is a very good movie.  It was nice seeing two of the actors that we know as #Avengers, Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, in good drama roles.

‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ Movie Review

Finally, a good and funny shoot-em-up bang-bang Summer movie has arrived! This movie is full of good fight and chase scenes (sometimes a bit gory). Sam Jackson gets every opportunity to say every expletive he wants throughout this movie, lol. Entertaining to say the least.  There’s one outtake scene after credits.
