Based on a true story and a book, this movie is about the dysfunctional mindset of the father of a family. The dysfunction he lived in as a child manifested into his own family. The horrific lifestyle he has his wife and children living in is a nightmare. It’s not all darkness, there’s humor and love. Great acting and chemistry of actors (of all ages).

I don’t remember If I saw the first movie in this franchise yet I didn’t think I needed to have seen it. This is fun family movie or for those young at heart. There were enough laughs to keep me engaged.
