‘I Can Only Imagine’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of Bart who became the lead singer for the band, Mercy Me. His dysfunctional and violent relationship with his father led him to write his feelings on what seemed to be a hopeless journey. Forgiveness and the lyrics to a beautiful song manifested, “I Can Only Imagine”. I’m unfamiliar with the original song yet it has been re-recorded and the version I know is sang by Tamela Mann and her rendition is POWERFUL to say the least. This is a great family faith based film.

‘Tomb Raider’ Movie Review

The re-boot of this franchise and video game has finally been completed. I believe Alicia is a good choice; it’s the writing that’s not good for her. I wanted this movie to be so much more yet it never happened…I kept waiting for something big. It’s definitely set up to have a sequel and if so, let’s hope for a much better script. I did see it in IMAX.
