‘Kings’ Movie Review

The advertising for this movie was almost non-existent and after reading about the premise, which is a family’s life leading up to the Rodney King verdict. Of course, the story content is serious and true yet I found this storyline to be so non-ending in chaos that it was exhausting! Things never get better for this family as the riots start. Halle’s performance saved this movie and I’m surprised this studio had a budget to pay her and Daniel. Most of the scenes become laughable because things get so out of control.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Movie Review

I’m a diehard #Marvel fan and this 3rd installment of an Avengers movie did not disappoint. It was great seeing so many of the Marvel characters in one movie…NOT all of them are in the movie though.  Rumor is that the X-Men haven’t been written into the Avengers yet, because help is needed.  The movie is great and I have already seen it twice in IMAX 3-D and Dolby.  I enjoyed both formats.  Shout out to a fave #GOT character, Tyrion/Peter Dinklage with his cameo scene.  Yes, I plan to see it again and probably in a different format, Super E-Max.  There’s only ONE end credit scene.

‘Super Troopers’ Movie Review

Fans of the original movie will probably love it for every reason.  For me, it was straight up tom foolery.  If you are in the mood for gross jokes and nonsense, then you’ll get it with this movie.  I like comedy yet this one is not for me.

‘I Feel Pretty’ Movie Review

This movie should be way better…especially with comedy.  The journey of the lead character not having self esteem until “she believes” a wish has come true for her to become beautiful in society eyes.  Perhaps, she realizes that she should have self esteem no matter how one views her.

‘Traffik’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts of human trafficking in this country and around the world.  The movie starts as a chick flick love story then depicts how human trafficking happens and how it can be hard to get help to be rescued.  There’s no dramatic ending as this movie depicts a true crime that unfortunately growing.

‘Finding Your Feet’ Movie Review

What starts off as a movie about a loving couple married for decades and turns into the jilted wife finding her life and “feet” again. The cast has wonderful chemistry and there’s lots of humor and drama that promotes tears.

‘Truth or Dare’ Movie Review

Pretty cheesy and predictable.  There are definitely scenes that are scary (to me anyways) yet it’s bearable.  I figured the movie would end with a hint to a sequel.  I’m sure if the movie makes more than the budget, there will be a sequel.

‘Rampage’ Movie Review

There’s a rampage of a few animals taking place in Chicago.  A formula that was being housed in outer space crashes on Earth and animals become larger than life.  Of course, The Rock is to the rescue.  George the giant ape, is full of character to the very end.  No end credit scene as this film could definitely become a sequel.  I saw it in IMAX (no 3D) and it was great.
