‘Beautiful Boy’ Movie Review

A parents love never ends no matter what. Although this is a 2-hour movie it seems like the Nic’s fight for sobriety is LONG and exhausting. David is a dad that will go the long haul to help his son leave. It’s not clear what triggered Nic’s alcohol and drug addiction because he had a very supportive step-mother. Great acting on a serious topic.

‘Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer’ Movie Review

The entire movie is based on true accounts on how Dr. Gosnell was literally committing murder on babies. Yes, he owned an abortion clinic but he made his own sinister, gory and filthy rules which thankfully led him to be convicted of murder of women (from complications) and babies (a lot of them close to full term). The movie never shows the horror of what he did to abort the babies yet you can Google and find pics…they had me literally sick for a day after viewing them.

‘Mid90s’ Movie Review

This is a great coming of age film that is written and directed by Jonah Hill. The lead character, Stevie, is growing up with a fair share of dysfunction in his family having a physically abusive brother. He looks for friendship in a group of skate boarders yet most of them lead him to bad habits. In the end the heart of everyone emerges.

‘Free Solo’ Movie Review

This is a documentary about Alex Honnold as he becomes the first person to ever free solo climb Yosemite’s 3,000ft high El Capitan Wall. With no ropes or safety gear, he completed arguably the greatest feat in rock climbing history. Visually stunning yet not a good documentary but an extraordinary accomplishment.
