‘Can You Ever Forgive Me’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of best-selling celebrity biographer Lee Israel, she finds herself out of touch with current readers and ventures wrongly because of desperate times to making an income. This is a different role for McCarthy that I feel she pulled off. Decent movie and worth checking out.

‘Overlord’ Movie Review

This is a somewhat fantasy, horror/thriller war movie. I had low expectations of a storyline that would engage me yet that it would scare me. It did scare me yet this multi-genre movie is something different that I ended up liking. It reminded me of the walking dead fused with WWII.  D-Day is upon the soldiers as they attempt to set up camp to fight yet they are surprised with what their ultimate fight is. I saw this in IMAX, always a great viewing experience.

‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story’ Movie Review

Young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist find themselves caught in a web of spies, cybercriminals and corrupt government officials. I wasn’t familiar with this character of sorts yet I enjoyed the action and storyline as it held my attention.

‘The Grinch’ 2018 Movie Review

This is a very lighthearted family fun movie. No darkness or scariness for the little ones. Beautifully illustrated and best movie out now to kick off the Holiday Season.  I saw it in IMAX and it was grand!
