‘What They Had’ Movie Review

What They Had banner

Based on the Directors family on what her family had to learn and endure when her mom became ill with Alzheimer disease. There a lot of heart and some humor. It’s heartbreaking to see how the illness affects the family.

‘Instant Family’ Movie Review

Instant Fam banner

I was expecting the usual Holiday comedy from Mark Wahlberg, yet this movie also has a lot of heart. This is a great Season to bring light to the process of families wanting to adopt children and the ups and downs of the blending and the system to make it happen.  Based on a true story.

‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ Movie Review

Yes, I saw all of the ‘Harry Potter’ movies but didn’t read any of the books…yes, I enjoyed the movies for the most part. This series of spin-off movies is different. The first Fantastic Beasts was just okay yet this one is more Harry Potter-esque, yet I was lost with all of the characters and storyline. I did view it in IMAX and it was great.

‘Widows’ Movie Review

Widows banner

This movie is based on a book that I’m unfamiliar with. The storyline can seem slow/long yet it’s for character development, which is good. I did expect more from these ladies yet I have to remember that for the most part, these ladies had ordinary lives outside of their criminal husbands/significant others. It’s a popcorn movie. I thought there were a few loose ends that should have been tied up.
