‘Arctic’ Movie Review

There aren’t many words spoken in this movie and a few of them are not English and there are a few subtitles. Engaging enough to hold my attention although a little slow in the middle. Definitely survival of mind, spirit, body.

‘Fighting with My Family’ Movie Review

Fighting with my family

Based on a true story, a family of wrestlers compete to have hometown and ultimately world wide celebrity. Although only one of the family members makes it to the WWE. I enjoyed this movie yet I didn’t think I would. I grew up really loving wrestling so it was a little nostalgic. The Rock makes a couple of cameos. Lots of humor. It was great seeing #GOT Lena Headey in a comedy.

Run the Race

This is based on a true story about the dysfunctional home life of two brothers who strive overcome adversity. One brother goes on to fulfill his sports dream. Tim Tebow makes a cameo appearance. Good family film.

‘How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World’ Movie Review

This is one of my favorite animated movie franchises (this is the 3rd). The colors and cinematography are stellar since that’s how #Dreamworks rolls. The storyline finds Toothless finding love with Hiccup and his first family trying to protect this newly discovered dragon kingdom before a wicked tyrant finds it first.

‘Isn’t It Romantic’ Movie Review

Isnt Romantic

Wasn’t so romantic or funny to me. Maybe it’s just me but I rarely found scenes funny or engaging. I usually don’t like movie scenes that have a repeat sequence. I’m a Rebel fan but not with this movie.

‘Alita: Battle Angel’ Movie Review

Alita

Based on a popular novel, Alita is a super cyborg character trying to remember who she was before she was rebuilt. Her powers are far superior than every villain sent her way yet the super villain always ghosts her. Set up to be a sequel. I saw it in 3D Imax and it nice; visually stunning with the animated CGI on the cyborgs.

‘What Men Want’ Movie Review

I laughed out loud several times during this film especially during the Erykah Badu scenes…she was hilarious. The film is funny for a passing rating from me. I liked the gender flip of the script of hearing the thoughts of men.

‘Cold Pursuit’ Movie Review

This is absolutely the worst storyline and acted movie that I’ve ever seen Liam in. Amidst the controversial interview recently released about Liam comes this horrible film. JUST PLAIN CHEESY. Maybe he wanted this film to not make money because it’s so bad.

‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ Movie Review

The Lego gang is back and back with more laughs for the entire family to enjoy with a PG rating. Just as enjoyable as the first with no storyline that is intended to be engaging with added Lego characters. Stay through the credits. The #Dolby experience is great.

‘Miss Bala’ Movie Review

miss bala

I was hoping for a good action flick and I pretty much got that. Somewhat predictable yet a couple of twists make this 3-way bad guy movie engaging with a female lead. I saw the movie in Dolby and it was great.
SPOILER: ended with the setup for a sequel which is unusual when the lead character had no specific training.
