‘The Nightingale’ Movie Review

nightingale

Set in the 1800’s, a young Irish woman sets out on a vengeance journey with the aid of an aboriginal. Together they plan to avenge their loved ones. The lead character, Clare, has a horrific tragedy happen to her entire family in the first half hour of the movie. I thought super human strength would stay ignited in her throughout the film yet it didn’t. Without spoiling, I’ll just say that I expected more raw gore from her as the movie starts with violent scenes. It’s possible that the film may garner Oscar attention.

‘Don’t Let Go’ Movie Review

dont let go

The storyline is futuristic and in the present with a police officer trying to save the life of at least one of his relatives yet he relives the act and has to communicate with her to via cell to help her help him save her life…get it?  The acting is decent with a predictable end.
