I enjoyed this clever caper “who done it” murder mystery. The ensemble cast delivers with familiar faces such as other characters we love from other films such as Captain America, James Bond, Laurie Strode (Halloween) and others. The storyline is good enough to keep you wondering.

’21 Bridges’ Movie Review

21 bridges

Now, the fact is that there are 21 bridges to get off of Manhattan yet not one was attempted by the bad gus6in this movie, lol. Maybe 21 streets. The storyline kept me engaged to figure out who the bad guys actually were.

‘A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood’ Movie Review

A definite nostalgic recap of a very popular children’s television show (although I didn’t watch, smh). The main storyline is a dramatic healing process for a writer who is writing a story about Mister Rogers. Self reflection, forgiveness and healing are the heart of this film.

‘Frozen II’ Movie Review

Still magical with a storyline that gives a back story and introduces more characters. If you compare the two movies, the first will win (it’s classic). Have an open mind for this 2nd installment that’s a bit dark especially for younger children. I saw it in 3D and that format is nice; I will see it again in Dolby.

‘The Irishman’ Movie Review

Although long, 3 1/2 hours long, I was engaged with the storyline that never seems to disappear if you live in Metro Detroit. It’s hard to believe that so much violence took place in broad daylight (I’m aware and sensitive to 2019 happenings) in this era.

‘Ford v Ferrari’ Movie Review

I’m totally not a racing fan or car enthusiast and I think you need to be to love this film. Although well done and it tells the race car legacy of the Ford family dynasty. Being in MI there’s no short of knowing about this family and their impact to the World via cars. The IMAX experience is great (and loud, lol).

‘Charlie’s Angels’ Movie Review

Charlies Angels

Much to my surprise, I enjoyed this reboot! I really didn’t think this new trio would have chemistry nor did I think the storyline would be engaging since only Stewart being the only known Angel. Decent action and humor. I liked the homage to the television angels and the last big screen trio (Barrymore, Liu and Diaz). There are 2 end of movie credit scenes so don’t rush off.
