‘Midway’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of another attack from the Japanese towards Americans after Pearl Harbor. Midway is an Island near Hawaii that was the next step in the Japanese to invade the Mainland. Heroism from U.S. forces ended their plans. I was totally engaged and enjoyed the history lesson. I viewed the movie in Dolby.

‘Last Christmas’ Movie Review

The lead character is having a stretch of time of her making bad/radical decisions after a serious health scare. She finds what she thinks is love and it guides her to restoring broken/dysfunctional relationships. It seems that Emilia does her own singing and she’s not too bad. There’s plenty of George Michael’s music! Although PG-13, there’s lots of language inappropriate for children (not a family movie).

‘Inside Game’ Movie Review

Based on a true story, you’d probably relate to this movie if you are a NBA fan. Childhood friends with a trust bond set out to get their fair share of illegal betting. Interesting that they were able to get away with this for any amount of time.

‘Harriet’ Movie Review

Definitely a soul stirring film where you’re cheering inwardly and outwardly for the legendary Moses b.k.a. Harriet Tubman. I’m happy that a theatrical movie has finally been made of this hero. I think a stronger script could have been written yet this one is worth viewing.
