‘Bad Boys for Life’ Movie Review

The 3rd installment in this franchise delivers! I went in with no expectations (as I had heard one bad and one good review), and I was pleased that there’s a storyline with all of the shoot-em-up bang bang. The chemistry and jokes are still present with these two and it was entertaining. Stay for the two end credit scenes (I’m unsure if there’s one when the screen turns black). SPOILER: definite set-up for a 4th movie in this franchise; hopefully more sooner than later).

‘1917’ Movie Review

1917

Based on true accounts from the director, Sam Mendes, grandfather from WWI. The cinematography is absolutely stunning in this raw war movie about two young men given a mission that is seemingly impossible. I saw it in IMAX and the sound effects were great.

Just Mercy

Based on a true story we have a well-acted film that depicts Walter McMillian journey to a new trial lead by Bryan Stevenson. Although the era is not so long ago the case and the facts are that of generations ago when a black man could easily be sentenced to life or death row for a crime that he did not commit. There are scenes that are quite emotional.

‘Parasite’ Movie Review

Parasite

Three genres are noted on this film yet it felt like more and shared with several emotions throughout. Half of this totally sub-tiled film seems conniving yet about half way through you couldn’t tell where this movie was going, and that’s a good thing. Definitely worth the time and read. I noticed a couple or so things that didn’t tie in yet they didn’t spoil the movie.

Well, this movie is at least 45 mins longer than it needs to be. Adam Sandler portrays a jeweler who’s trying to make a BIG sports game score. He has a henchman family that’s after him and so is everyone else. Definitely laughable; it was just okay to me as I expected more.
