‘Soul’ Movie Review

Disney always has stellar cinematography with lush colors and dynamic graphics; the storyline takes a back seat to the preceding. Heartwarming yet lacking the “soul” connection. Still worth checking out with the family during the Holidays on Disney+.

‘News of the World’ Movie Review

There’s usually an early era movie during the Holidays. Here you have a determined veteran dedicated to getting a young girl back safely to her family after a turn of events. The voyage back is filled with drama which forces a partnership to survive. Quite heartwarming at the end.

‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Movie Review

The long awaited sequel is finally on the big screen (and streaming as well via HBO Max) due to many postponements of the pandemic. The opening scene is quite entertaining with a tournament of the Amazon women and Diana as a child. The slow and vague plot does somewhat explain why Steve Trevor is back and how new villains arise. Overall, not as enjoyable as the first film yet the action scenes are worth seeing in IMAX. There’s a GREAT end credit scene that comes pretty quickly.
