‘Sing 2’ Movie Revie

The sequel to this blockbuster animated musical is finally here for Christmas. The family fun with these characters is back as they plan for a new show yet they must book a legendary singer. I saw this via an early paid showing; in theatres on Christmas day!

‘House of Gucci’ Movie Review

Based on a book of true accounts of the Gucci family dynasty, this film has an ensemble A-list cast. To learn about this family and how the story depicts a (non-blood Gucci) family member literally rip this dynasty apart in relationships and money to only herself become so angry to have her ex-husband assassinated and spend years in jail. I would recommend you read a little bit up on this family to follow the storyline.

‘Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City’ Movie Review

This is the origin story to this franchise and I didn’t connect the dots at all, smh. Horror movies are not my genre yet I went thinking it had some of those that I was familiar with in this franchise. Yes, there’s a quick end credit scene

‘Encanto’ Movie Review

One member of a Columbian family falls short of having her own “special power” yet it doesn’t stop her tenacity. As usually Disney delivers on the visual lushness of colors and fancifulness! There’s a lot of singing that I didn’t know would be included. I saw it in 3D and it was nice.

‘King Richard’ Movie Review

Very well done Mr. Will Smith! Definitely Oscar and other award nominations should come as they are well deserved. Heartfelt, humor and family love. What a great movie for a family to see together (get your tissues). The the good feels envelop you while watching.

‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Movie Review

What a wonderful nostalgic reboot of this franchise! The storyline is engaging from the beginning (of course we know it’s about catching ghosts) from an ensemble of actors that are well cast. I didn’t think the last re-boot of all females was bad at all yet I enjoyed this one totally especially with the return of the original characters! There are 2 end-credit scenes so stay until all credits have shown. The IMAX experience is great.

‘Belfast’ Movie Review

This is an adaptation of a family living through a war, riots and everything chaotic in the turbulent late 1960’s. There’s humor, love, fear and triumph. Starts in color and morphs to a black/white film. Probably a strong contender during award Season.

‘Spencer’ Movie Review

Well, this film wasn’t what I thought it would be. You will either like or dislike Kristen’s depiction of Princess Diana, and I thought it was corny. There’s humor and it shows not known things about her personality.

‘Eternals’ Movie Review

A brand new crew to the MCU world is being introduced in this film. Ten were introduced yet they don’t all survive this film. Because I’m not a comic book enthusiast, I knew/know nothing about the Eternals. I’m glad Thanos attack and the war against him was acknowledged (why didn’t they help?) There were back stories of each character yet I’m still a bit unclear of the intention of a few of them. And, Thanos’ brother is introduced…and “John Snow” of G.O.T. is introduced firstly quite human but that changes, lol. Not much of Dane in this film yet I couldn’t imagine John Snow (Kit) not having a bigger role. So, I look forward to seeing the continue journey of this crew and how eventually they will mesh with The Avengers (or at 3 of the Eternals). I saw it in IMAX which was great! Yes, there are 2 end credit scenes and both are great!
