Based on the legendary King of Rock N Roll this biography either educates you or gives you fond memories. The music is iconic and the actor portraying him gives a great rendition of the King’s music and dancing. The biography is long and unfortunately has this 3rd narrator by the King’s manager (whom I didn’t know really cheated him out of a lot of money). It was a corny narrative that was needed…just a movie with decent acting and reliving the music and dancing was all that was needed.
I have seen the Toy Story movies and this one is a prequel. I love animated movies yet this one didn’t hold my attention at all. Okay, just not great. Best for young children – family outing. Stay until the screen goes dark because there’s 2 end credits plus a pic at the end.
Part 3 of the 2nd installment of this franchise, doesn’t disappoint! I jumped several times as these dinosaurs definitely aren’t domesticated to co-exist with humans (maybe Blue a little, lol). Seeing old school faces in the conclusion was a good ending. I’m sure in a few years the franchise will re-boot yet for now it ended well. There’s no end credit scene. I saw it in Dolby and will see it again this weekend in IMAX 3-D. Enjoy!
I really enjoyed this funny (some profanity) cultural storyline about an annual event that coincides with Juneteenth. Simple storyline yet fun to watch. If you’re from MI, specifically Grand Rapids there are several drops of the legendary DeBarge family (I thought there would be a cameo) and Marvin Sapp (gospel singer). 80’s music played a lot and it was enjoyable. Playing in theatres for a limited run then showing on BET+.
