Based on true accounts of a group of 80-year-old ladies. Enough laughs and of course predictable. Brady fans will really enjoy this film about thier G.O.A.T. I saw an early screening of this film, yet it arrives in theatres on February 3rd.
I was quite intrigued the entire film. Although somewhat predictable the movie still held my attention to the end with a couple of twists that weren’t expected. LOTS of reading because of all the online searches that actually taught me a few things.
So, this definitely does not come close to the old school House Party movies. It’s a soft re-boot with some laughs. The cameo appearances were the actual highlight of the movie and there’s lots of them!
I thoroughly enjoyed all the music because Whitney’s voice was used and of course I’m a big fan of her music. If the story was told correctly, I’m glad the true story about Whitney’s friend was finally revealed. Worth checking out. The music is so nostalgic!
Well, the long-awaited sequel is worth the 3 hrs. 12 minutes. Beautifully illustrated; lush colors; Disney at its best! New lands of characters that adds vast new cultures. Definitely worth checking out. I saw it tonight in Super E-Max; next time IMAX 3D. There is not an end credit scene just pandora scenery through some of the credits.
5 stars out of 5
