‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Movie Review

Disney or Marvel never disappoints on the big screen with the lush colors and optics. I wish the title had multi-Verse instead of Quantumania because these multi universes are confusing. Any hoots, the Dolby experience was good…if I find time in my schedule, I’ll check it out in IMAX 3d. Yes, there are 2 end credit scenes.

2.5 stars out of 5 (I hate rating a Marvel movie anything less than 5 stars yet it is what it is until they pull this Phase 5 together).

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Movie Review

I’m a huge Marvel fan and to see original Avengers back on the big screen is always a fun time. There’s lot of humor. A different type of Marvel movie but still fun. I saw it in Dolby and will see it again in IMAX 3-D. Yes, there are two end credit scenes!

‘Morbius’ Movie Review

So, I’m a huge Marvel movie film yet this is a Sony distributed film and it’s evident. Visually it’s great as I saw it in IMAX yet the storyline/back story was lack luster to me. There is a mention of Spiderman towards the end, which was so exciting to me and I was hoping to get a tie-in connection to the Marvel, but it didn’t work. There are 2 end credit scenes that happen before the screen goes to black, so there’s no need to stay until the end.

‘Spiderman-Man: No Way Home’ Movie Review

The long wait for an original superhero from the Avengers is finally here! I totally enjoyed the ride of this 2 1/2 hour movie plus 2 end-credit scenes. The spidermen are great together with Dr. Strange and Wong. Laughs and (for me) a couple of characters from the comic-books that I didn’t recognize. The cheers from forever comic-book fans were overwhelming when I saw the movie last night in IMAX upon each and every good or bad character. Definitely worth seeing this Holiday Season as I will see it again.

‘Venom Let There Be Carnage’ Movie Review

So, I’m a BIG Marvel movie fan yet this franchise (both films) is the weakest link to me in the MCU world, ijs. Venom’s loud voice is creepy yet has these comical lines is a bit disturbing to me because I can’t understand what he’s saying some of the time (reminds me of Tom Hardy’s voice in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ as Bane..yeah, I remember). Seeing it in IMAX is best for the big scenes and yes there is 1 (one) end credit scene that goes into the next Spiderman movie and I’m sure the 3rd installment of Venom. If you’re a Michigander, the Mumford High School t=shirt sticks out as Tom is a fan of ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ films and pays homage; he also has on a Detroit Lions jacket. #venom #marvel #spiderman

‘Black Widow’ Movie Review

There’s nothing like a Marvel film! Yes, I was so happy to see my favorite franchise of super hero movies back on the big screen, although it’s a prequel (we secretly know they’re going to bring her back right? The action, the comedy and storyline are all in place for a great movie going experience, especially in IMAX and Dolby (saw it twice in each format). Girl power at it’s best. Yes, there’s an end credit scene that leads up the the Hawkeye Disney Plus series.

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Movie Review

XMen

NOTE: AS WITH “ALL” MARVEL MOVIES – DON’T FORGET TO WAIT UNTIL THE END CREDIT SCENE RUNS AT THE END OF ALL THE CREDITS….WAIT UNTIL THE SCREEN TURNS BLACK.

Ok, I could have used a total X-Men movie refresher to understand and keep up with this movie. I had forgotten a lot of the characters. If you’re a diehard X-men fan, you’ll enjoy seeing most if not all characters in one movie, lol. I did really enjoy the storyline and the nostalgic look back to the 1970’s. There’s humor amongst the characters and lots of action. I did see the film in 3D and I enjoyed it. Not a lot of the movie is in 3D but when it kicks in it’s worth it. I think this film definitely fits into the Summer popcorn movie guide. Enjoy! Another well done #Marvel film.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Movie Review

Spider Man Banner

NOTE: AS WITH ALL MARVEL MOVIES, WAIT FOR THE END CREDIT SCENE – DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL THE SCREEN TURNS BLACK (I didn’t see the end credit scene yet because the advance screening I saw didn’t show it due to Sony/Fox politics).

The 2nd installment of this franchise is filled with great action scenes and spectacular colorful special effects. Unfortunately, the storyline is sluggish and the character development was almost non-existent. I wanted so much to share that Electro is a great villain yet I can’t. This character is one that really lacked in building and never showed why he became so enraged when becoming Electro (there’s a storyline yet it’s weak). Spiderman has great action scenes yet there wasn’t a “real” story to follow. This film will make plenty of money this weekend and in the weeks to come yet I’m giving you fair warning that it’s not as good as the first film in this franchise. I didn’t see it in 3D yet there are plenty of scenes that I think the 3D will be pretty sweet to see.

‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Movie Review

capt america banner

Firstly, THERE ARE TWO (2) END CREDITS SCENES – DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL THE SCREEN TURNS BLACK. Now, lol, I really did enjoy the second installment to the ‘Captain America’ franchise (much better than the first). There’s a lot of action from all the main characters and Nick Fury is finally in an entire Marvel movie. If you’re a Marvel fan, you will enjoy this movie. Lastly, the Winter Soldier is a total “bad butt”; he’s a formidable enemy.

P.S. I wish other Avengers would call on each other when they need help, lol. I would have loved to see Iron Man show up in this one, IJS.
