‘Midway’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of another attack from the Japanese towards Americans after Pearl Harbor. Midway is an Island near Hawaii that was the next step in the Japanese to invade the Mainland. Heroism from U.S. forces ended their plans. I was totally engaged and enjoyed the history lesson. I viewed the movie in Dolby.

‘Bleed For This’ Movie Review

The inspirational and true story of World Champion Boxer Vinny Pazienza who, after a near fatal car crash, which left him not knowing if he’d ever walk again, made one of sports most incredible comebacks. I was totally unfamiliar with this story and did not know he overcame this injury to defeat Boxer Duran, Wow!

‘Sully’ Movie Review

Based on the miraculous true story and book we get to see what actually happened on this flight as it descended to the Hudson River. I found this movie incredibly moving…even to tears. It’s not often that a potential tragic accident can turn into a miraculous landing on water and 155 people surviving. There’s footage at the end of movie of Captain Sully meeting with the real passengers from the flight. I saw it in IMAX and as usual it was a great experience.

‘London Has Fallen’ Movie Review

Initially I didn’t realize this is a sequel yet I did notice that all the same people were in this movie, lol, duh. Well, I loved ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ and I knew I would love this one and I did. I like shoot em’ up – bang bang movies and that’s what I got with the cheesy lines and big action scenes. This is a popcorn talk to the screen movie. I was a little disappointed at one of the main characters fate.

‘My All American’ Movie Review

This film is based on a true story from the late 60’s to early 70’s about Freddie Steinmark’s winning college football career until a health problem arises in his life. Freddie becomes a hero on the field and in his personal life. Inspiring and family friendly film. Another film similar to this one that was released a couple of months ago is ‘Woodlawn’ (a true story as well and little better than this one).

‘I, Frankenstein’ Movie Review

The demographic for this movie is definitely “male”….males who love to play video games. Very cheesy and I see why it didn’t get good box office sales last weekend when it opened. I like most sci-fi movies yet this one didn’t hold my attention. Some of the action scenes are decent. I did see it in 3D and it was ok but I’d say save your extra bucks, better yet, wait for the dvd rental.
