‘The Star’ Movie Review

What a wonderful family movie for this Season! The story of Jesus’ birth is told in an animated version beautifully done. Laughs, great music and a good time for allĀ in this all-star ensemble (voiced) cast.

‘Barbershop: The Next Cut’ Movie Review

Barbershop banner

Well, it’s been twelve years since the last movie in this franchise hit the big screen…and it’s a good add. Lots of laughs occur in the barber shop with lots of discussion on current topics especially on inner cities. All the faves are back with lots of familiar faces. I’d say it’s worth checking out if you liked either of the other two films. I thought there was a significant amount of profanity for a PG 13 film.

‘Grudge Match’ Movie Review

grudge match

I didn’t expect that I would like this film yet surprisingly I enjoyed the humor and the chemistry of the cast of characters. Stallone and De Niro hold their own and overall the film was entertaining (with of course the humor of Kevin Hart’s character).
