‘The Super Mario Bros Movie’ Movie Review

Of course I’m familiar with the nostalgic game yet never really played it. This movie is definitely family friendly yet was pretty boring.

‘The New Mutants’ Movie Review

 

This was such a different type of so-called Marvel movie and didn’t live up to any expectation of a true Marvel fan. Hopefully this franchise will get another chance.

‘Emma.’ Movie Review

There’s some humor but I wasdisappointed in this lack of storyline. I usually like movies about the 1800’s but not this one.

‘Glass’ Movie Review

Well, I have yet to rent and watch ‘Unbreakable’ yet I did see ‘Split’ (unknowingly that it was connected to ‘Unbreakable’). I didn’t think the movie was scary at all (genre doesn’t say so yet ‘Split’ was scary to me). For the most part it was okay with McAvoy giving a great performance with those personality changes. I probably need to watch ‘Unbreakable’ to see how they all tie in. Definitely more sci-fi than anything this time. No end credit scene, therefore, it’s hard to say if a new trilogy will be birthed. The Dolby experience was great!

‘Split’ Movie Review

I had angst about seeing this movie (I don’t like to be spooked, lol). I went to the theatre in the daytime….I didn’t expect a storyline that I could follow without being scared. There’s also a back storyline to follow that explains the ending. I was told that seeing the movie, ‘Unbreakable’ “may” explain something about this movie (but I don’t know). The movie gets gory towards the end so be prepared!  P.S.  there are about three things that the movie didn’t give closure to/or explain; I won’t state them so it’s not a spoiler.
