‘The Circle’ Movie Review

Although the storyline is quite relevant now, I thought the movie was slow and it under used the great talents of the actors in this movie.  The plot is not consistent and will bore you yet there is a message.

‘Nightcrawler’ Movie Review

Overall a great role for Jake Gyllenhaal and well acted on his part. His character IMO is narcissistic and psychotic. He starts off as a desperate indigent who can be violent (fighting policemen). He’s a thief; along the way he develops great interest in filming violent scenes that can be a cash cow for him. His obsession for the almighty dollar, his narcissism and psychotic tendencies will spare no ones life if you get in his way. ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Movie Review

Here’s a sci-fi film that works! There are scenes that repeat yet not enough to annoy you. The storyline does build with an ending that makes you ask “what actually happened?” Anyone looking for a sci-fi Summer film to enjoy should check this one out. There’s humor throughout and pretty good 3D scenes.

‘Million Dollar Arm’ Movie Review

‘Million Dollar Arm’ is a true story that I wasn’t aware of (baseball enthusiasts probably are). This is a heartwarming journey of two young men from India to fulfill a new dream of becoming baseball super stars in America. They had to learn the game of baseball because in India they played cricket. There’s humor along the way and a story that grabs your attention and hits a homerun.

‘2 Guns’ Movie Review

I was really wondering how Denzel and Mark would gel together for such a movie like this. Well, their chemistry is right on point! This action/comedy/crime caper has a storyline to follow with lots of twists and good comedy between the leading men. Paula Patton (Deb) has a small role yet links with Denzel’s character (Bobby); heads up alert on the nudity (I was surprised Paula took a role that called for her to be nude). Denzel and Mark’s (Stig) characters are the good guys but they don’t find out until after awhile. A good movie worth checking out….get your popcorn at the concession stand.
