‘The Peanut Butter Falcon’ Movie Review

peanut butter falcon

Definitely a Summer release movie that deserves Oscar attention. Engaging and endearing storyline of a friendship that grows to family status. Quirky, funny and dramatic scenes fill this movie.

‘The Mustang’ Movie Review

Mustang

Certain states have a program where prisons can aid in reforming prisoners by having them train wild horses and in some cases, Mustangs.  The main character has a harden heart and he meets a wild Mustang.  They square off until both are broken.  He risks all to save the horse.

‘The Hateful Eight’ Movie Review

h8ful eight banner

If you’re a Quentin Tarantino fan, then this one doesn’t disappoint. I actually liked the movie and found it quite funny…Samuel L. Jackson keeps the movie going the entire three hours (12 minute intermission). I saw it in 70 mm film and didn’t see a difference from a digital film, IJS. Just as ‘D’Jango’ prepare yourself to hear the N-word A LOT. Great performances from an all-star ensemble cast.

‘Nebraska’ Movie Review (Oscar nominee)

Nebraska

I was unexpectedly pleased with this film. So much humor throughout and good from acting from the lead characters. June Squibb truly deserves her Best Supporting Actress nomination as does the film for Best Picture. Shot in black and white yet it truly gives you the feeling of a small town and the families that live here. It’s definitely an adventure for Woody (Bruce Dern) to “try” and collect a million dollars that he thinks he won.
