‘The Promise’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts about the Armenian genocide this movie is a love story of two men being in love with one woman yet she truly only loves one of them. The love story has many twists yet the truth of what happened to many innocent people is shared.

‘The Walk’ Movie Review

The Walk banner

Ok, I did get a headache watching the tightrope walk, lol. I had to keep telling myself that I’m looking at a green screen and he’s not doing the walk for real. I didn’t really care for the narrative throughout the movie but I did find Philippe Petit true story to be interesting (he’s still alive). IMAX is the best way to see it in my opinion…opens wide in the regular format this week.

‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ Movie Review

What a poignant “foodie” movie. Great storyline, cast and acting. Beautiful picturesque scenery. It’s a simple storyline yet the well acted casts’ chemistry draws you into their respective lives and culture through the food.
