This animated version of a television show that I watched as a child (which was already an old show on tv 🙂 is the best thus far. I laughed at all the ghoulish comedy and silly horror. Fun and funny for all to enjoy. I saw it in 3D and it was great!

The genres should be drama, suspense/thriller and comedy. The storyline is somewhat predictable in an annoying way. The main character doesn’t understand early enough that she’s in danger so her abduction is imminent. There are twists at the end that keep you wondering what will happen. Maybe a sequel?

Sometimes sequels don’t add up yet I thought this one did. Some of the funniest scenes unfortunately are in the trailers. Overall, I liked it and think it’s worth checking out especially if you saw the first film (which I rated 3.5 stars).

I had high hopes for this sci-fi flick but found I couldn’t really connect to the storyline(s); it felt like two different storylines were going on and they just kinda connected towards the end of the movie. The demographic I think will enjoy this movie are tweens. I think it could have been much better. Alex Roe, new to me on the big screen is a cutie.

This big screen film is an adaptation of the 80’s television show of the same name. I never saw the television show yet the movie is a winner for me. Typical Denzel type of movie yet I liked the build up of the storyline before all the action began. The storyline never explained how he learned his skills nor his personal back story yet I still enjoyed the movie. I’m thinking there will be more Equalizer films.

This a tearjerker movie for the most part. There’s a tender coming of age love story being told that has a back story of sadness yet love prevails. Really nice singing and music.

I so enjoyed ‘Kick-Ass’ three years ago and was anticipating seeing the sequel that I was sure would bring more of what I liked from the original. My fave character is Mindy Macready/Hit-Girl and she didn’t disappoint. I didn’t think Jim Carrey gave anything new to this franchise (I didn’t like his initial decision to not promote the movie); I enjoyed Nicholas Cage’s character much better. This storyline is not as engaging yet it holds to it’s name. There’s more gore for those who enjoy that. Overall I liked it but the original is my fave. I did like the addition of Morris Chestnut who has a special relationship with Mindy Macready.
