Well, I know this film has received Oscar noms and others yet I didn’t like it. Very slow and uninteresting. Maybe I will try again, IDK.

P.S. I went to see #TheBatman again tonight (Friday) in Dolby (great experience as well); I will now say that I enjoy Pattinson at the Batman (not so much as Bruce Wayne)! He does a great job and has good chemistry with Zoe (Cat Woman). The action scenes are good; the end credit scene is still sucky, IJS. I have upgraded my stars from 3.5 to 4 (probably should be 4.5 but I’m a Marvel fan 😉

A journey filled with fantasy as Artemis sets off to find his dad. I’m not surprised this went straight to Disney+ (no shade) instead of waiting for theatres to reopen as this film misses the bullseye that most Disney films hit.

Well, I had high expectations for this one and I was disappointed on the lack-of good storyline. Nothing held my attention throughout the movie…there are a few laughs here and there.

Disney always finds a way to pull on the heartstrings, and this time with Dumbo. Definitely a family film to enjoy. I viewed it in IMAX and could tell 3D would be cool. Not the best film yet great for younger children.

This movie is based on a book that I’m unfamiliar with. The storyline can seem slow/long yet it’s for character development, which is good. I did expect more from these ladies yet I have to remember that for the most part, these ladies had ordinary lives outside of their criminal husbands/significant others. It’s a popcorn movie. I thought there were a few loose ends that should have been tied up.

This character is one that I can’t remember seeing Denzel acting in before. He’s a passionate lawyer with an eccentric lifestyle. He’s elevated to a corporate lawyer position but it comes at a cost.

To say the least this is a psychological thriller. This film gets under your skin with the realization of the of the horrible and gory scenes to come. The worst ever sacrifice that a parent must make, happens.

When you get a house full of catty women some of which some who may have never touched a man, then know problems are coming. The storyline intention is good yet it could have been way more intense and dramatic….to make it a good movie like the promos made it seem.

Harry Potter fans can see how his journey began 70 years before he read his first book. Although this is a pre-quell to the Potter books and movies the special effects are of course much more dynamic and this will excite fans. I thought more was needed in the storyline as new characters were introduced. There’s a quick pic cameo of Zoe Kravitz but no scene; Johnny Depp has a quick scene. My comparison of Harry Potter and Newt is that, Harry led his movies better…hopefully this series will get better as J. K. Rowlings depend on her to dazzle on the big screen. Well, I guess everyone has to wait until the part 2 arrives in 2018 (there will be five movies). I saw it in IMAX and it was great; I may try and catch it in 3D and Dolby if I can find it.
