‘The Fate of the Furious’ Movie Review

I’m a really big fan of this franchise so my reviews are usually favorable as is this one. Yes, I totally enjoyed this film and the Fast franchise should definitely continue. There was a rousing applause when two favorites of this franchise returned…I was so happy to see them. Good storyline; and lots of fast action. I saw it in IMAX and it was great! NO end credit scene. Another #GameOfThrones cast member is in this film.

‘Moana’ Movie Review

moana-banner-2

Here’s a new Polynesian themed animated movie for all to enjoy. The screen is lush in color and become even more beautiful when the storyline takes a dives into an below ocean world. Dwayne holds the tunes well enough to carry his character, Maui. Fun for the child at heart. yes, I saw it in Real D 3D yet I don’t think the few extra bucks is necessary to enjoy the fullness of colors and fun on the screen.

‘Central Intelligence’ Movie Review

I guess it was inevitable that these two would co-star in a movie based on their size…big vs. small, lol. Somewhat cheesy and unrealistic gun shoot out scenes (lots of bullets with a rare hit) yet it was still entertaining and had a message about bullying. The movie out-takes at the end were funnier than scenes in the movie. Three A-List celebrities make cameo appearances.

‘San Andreas’ Movie Review

This film makes you wonder how things would actually unfold if/when this earthquake happens. I’m a big Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock fan so he usually can do no wrong. Big action scenes and worth checking out. The 3D was pretty good.

‘Furious 7’ Movie Review

2015-04-02 19.35.22

I’m a huge fan of this franchise so my review is a thumbs up. Fast cars, big action scenes and a touching tribute to #PaulWalker. I’m pleased with the ending yet I thought it would be different. I saw it in IMAX and it was great. There are hints in the movie for an eighth film which Vin Diesel is eluding to. Enjoy the ride everyone.

‘Hercules’ Movie Review

This is an ALL familiar character via television shows and movies over the decades. What’s different that made me like it? Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock) was a believable mythological god and he brought his own elements into this popular character. The storyline seems quite familiar yet it’s presented differently. The 3D and the epic battle scenes are great!

‘Pain & Gain’ Movie Review

Here’s a storyline that is actually a TRUE story. After a few minutes you will forget that you are watching a true story (with of course some Hollywood add ons) because the storyline becomes unbelievable. This true story is depicted from 1994-95; watch closely to see if they keep to the “90’s” happenings, lol. In my opinion, this is a “guy’s” movie and most men will enjoy the ride. There’s a lot of humor that will probably keep a woman’s attention. Not a chick-flick (even with The Rock in it). Ladies, let the men have their evening out with this one. A bit long, 130 mins. with lots of rated R moments. In theatres 4/26.

3 out of 5 stars (The Rock being in this movie helped the rating to 3 stars otherwise 2 1/2 stars).
