‘Geostorm’ Movie Review

Geostorm banner

The mother of all outer space storms starts attacking Earth and the weather changes drastically all over the world with very little time for humans to take cover or basically just survive. The storyline is as much a whirlwind as the storms making the film more about the sights than the content.  I saw it in IMAX 3D and visually it was stunning.

‘Mother!’ Movie Review

Mother banner

Although one of the genres is horror, believe me, this is only a horror of a movie. The storyline makes no sense and it’s not scary. I thought maybe Jennifer’s character had an issue about going outside after a horrific incident…but no sense was ever made. A waste of the talent in this movie. Don’t waste your money or time.

‘Planes: Fire & Rescue’ Movie Review

Planes banner

This is the sequel to ‘Planes’ yet it’s actually a stand alone movie on it’s own considering the storyline. Our fave planes (and new ones) are back with laughs throughout the movie amongst them all. Children and the young at heart will love the movie. I saw it in 3D and it was good yet the 2D experience is just as enjoyable (to save a few bucks). Great ensemble cast of voices!

‘Gravity’ Movie Review

Gravity

I’m a sci-fi fan and I did enjoy this movie. The storyline is not that in depth and doesn’t give clarity on the back story of Sandra’s character, Ryan. For the most part, there are only two characters in the movie; the other is George’s character, Matt. I would have liked more to the ending after such a dramatic experience in outer space. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful; I did see it in 3D…if you can, do so. I thought Sandra’s performance was good but not Oscar worthy. Ed Harris (‘Apollo 13’) is the voice from Mission Control
