Cheesy and somewhat predictable yet I was quite engrossed the entire movie. Lots of action and it was refreshing as nothing good as been on the big screen lately. Worth checking out.

This is the third film in this franchise with our lead character portrayed by Gerard Butler still doing what he has to do to protect the President yet this time he’s framed for trying to take the President out. Lots of action, comedic lines from newcomer to the franchise…Nick Nolte and overall an entertaining movie.

This is one of my favorite animated movie franchises (this is the 3rd). The colors and cinematography are stellar since that’s how #Dreamworks rolls. The storyline finds Toothless finding love with Hiccup and his first family trying to protect this newly discovered dragon kingdom before a wicked tyrant finds it first.

The Russian government has gone rogue and an American submarine captain along with the Navy Seals are sent to capture the kidnapped Russian President. Somewhat cheesy yet it holds your attention.

This is definitely my type of popcorn movie…shoot-em-up bang-bang, lol. The storyline is quite engaging; some scenes as slow(and it works) yet the movie is not slow. The character development is good and your mind is trying to figure out who is actually better of all the bad guys on both sides. I found myself routing for the somewhat obvious bad guys because their plan was so masterful. This movie reminds me of ‘Takers’ with a cast of handsome men and it reminds me of ‘Set it Off’. Overall it’s a good movie yet there were a couple things that didn’t tie in well.

The mother of all outer space storms starts attacking Earth and the weather changes drastically all over the world with very little time for humans to take cover or basically just survive. The storyline is as much a whirlwind as the storms making the film more about the sights than the content. I saw it in IMAX 3D and visually it was stunning.

Initially I didn’t realize this is a sequel yet I did notice that all the same people were in this movie, lol, duh. Well, I loved ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ and I knew I would love this one and I did. I like shoot em’ up – bang bang movies and that’s what I got with the cheesy lines and big action scenes. This is a popcorn talk to the screen movie. I was a little disappointed at one of the main characters fate.

Well if you like movies of this genre you’ll probably like it but the movie isn’t fantastic in anything but visuals. I did see it in 3D and it was visually stunning. The storyline is weak yet there’s humor to keep your attention. It will probably make more money Internationally than domestic. Once again I was happy to see a #GOT actor on the big screen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Here’s a sequel that’s as good as the original. Our favorite animated Vikings are back on the big screen after a 4 year wait. Everything about this film is great….storyline, humor, colors, 3D! Even if you haven’t seen the first film, you will still enjoy this film. Be prepared for a character’s storyline to change. This is definitely a film for all to enjoy!
