‘Papa Hemingway in Cuba’ Movie Review

Papa Hemingway poster

This is the first film to be filmed in Cuba since 1959. Based on a true story of a young journalist whose life biggest moment is to meet the legendary Ernest Hemingway. The movie is a little slow yet it’s not a bad story. There’s nudity.

‘Ted 2’ Movie Review

Ted 2 banner

The raunchy teddy bear, Ted is back on the big screen. I found the movie to be funny when it was funny yet there aren’t as many funny moments/scenes in the sequel. That doesn’t mean is not as funny as the original yet just fewer laughable scenes. A little too much time spent on equality for this teddy bear. If there’s a third film, they should keep to the jokes. Ted still has a bad mouth, lol. I laughed out loud a lot and it was funny to see the charater, Donny again in this film.

‘Selma’ Movie Review

Riveting, touching, inspirational and a must see film for ALL. This is such a wonderfully filmed movie. David Oyelowo gives a stellar performance as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Great acting from the entire cast. It’s so touching that I can’t imagine a tear welling in everyone’s eyes.

‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’ Movie Review

A million ways

If you want to see a gross/rude comedy movie, then this is the film for you. There are a few laugh out loud scenes and pretty good consistent comedy scenes. I did find the movie to be a bit long (almost 2 hours) with a few scenes that tried hard to drag a joke out. Overall, it’s about laughs and not taking the “humor” seriously. Good ensemble cast with a few surprise cameos. There’s an END CREDIT SCENE after the screen goes to black.
