‘Five Feet Apart’ Movie Review

Five Feet Apart

Tweens and teens will probably find this movie engaging and deeply emotional. There are a few major mess ups in my opinion that make the storyline cheesy and unbelievable so for adults it may not be a good look. There are good acting scenes, humor, character chemistry and great info about this disease yet it wasn’t enough to make me love it.

‘Split’ Movie Review

I had angst about seeing this movie (I don’t like to be spooked, lol). I went to the theatre in the daytime….I didn’t expect a storyline that I could follow without being scared. There’s also a back storyline to follow that explains the ending. I was told that seeing the movie, ‘Unbreakable’ “may” explain something about this movie (but I don’t know). The movie gets gory towards the end so be prepared!  P.S.  there are about three things that the movie didn’t give closure to/or explain; I won’t state them so it’s not a spoiler.

‘The Edge of Seventeen’ Movie Review

I expected this female version coming of age story to have more laughs as the trailers were mis-leading (to me) that this was more of a comedy. The genre is more of a drama and depicts a 17 year old girl pretty good.

‘The Bronze’ Movie Review

The Bronze_poster

I didn’t know what to expect going in but all in all it was a decent movie with lots of humor. Essentially a washed up former Olympian can’t get her “real” life together after an injury. The opportunity arises to coach an up and coming Olympian but she’ll only do it for inheritance momne. A few raunchy scenes with lots of bad language.
