‘Black Christmas’ Movie Review

Thriller-ish enough for a few jumps as it’s basically fraternity vs. sorority after. The frat boys are committing crimes against the sorority and the ladies finally man-up with girl power to get their revenge with a couple of little twists. Possibly a sequel because of a quick end credit scene.

‘The Art of Self-Defense’ Movie Review

Even when you read the synopsis of a movie it can sometimes still not prepare you for what’s ahead, so I wasn’t prepared for the gory scenes in this movie.  I expected cheesiness and stupid humor yet the storyline turned dark and too gory.

‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ Movie Review

Here’s a movie that not my genre for many reasons, lol, and that’s why a lot of things went over my head. Depending on your exposure to certain things you’ll feel the same as me. Expect lots of gross humor; not too bad but nothing I’d refer anyone to. It’s only ninety six minutes but it didn’t end soon enough for me. LOTS of celebrity appearances and a couple with character lines.

‘Green Room’ Movie Review

I didn’t have a preconceived notion about this movie going in. To my surprise the storyline (with lots of gory scenes) held my attention and I couldn’t wait to see how it would end. This is a different kind of role for Patrick Stewart is who is the big name celebrity in this film. Overall, it’s okay and worth checking out but be prepared for very intense violent scenes.

‘Need For Speed’ Movie Review

Fast cars, mediocre storyline, 3D if you want, and great views of Downtown Detroit are what you’ll find in ‘Need For Speed’. Don’t expect a replica of the Fast/Furious movies yet you will be entertained with the fast cars.
