‘A Private War’ Movie Review

A Private War banner

Based on the true story of Marie Colvin, a well known journalist that traveled the world to give a view and a voice to the viewless and voiceless regarding global wars and unrest in those respective countries. Marie seemed to be addicted to the frontline of war and ultimately that passion ended her life. Some good acting yet a bit slow.

‘Robin Hood 2018’ Movie Review

Robin Hood banner

This is a (somewhat) new school version of the infamous character Robin Hood with Jamie Foxx’ character portraying his soon to be buddy. Jamie’s accent is funny yet I enjoyed all of the characters and their cheesiness, lol. Lots of action and it must be showing at some theatre in 3D because of the action scenes. I viewed it in a regular format. It’s a Holiday popcorn movie.

‘Fifty Shades Freed’ Movie Review

Fifty Shades Freed banner

This is the third and last film in this franchise and yes, redemption has taken place.  The last film was so cheesy and horrible at the same time yet this one redeems the books in my opinion. Now, the storyline is like a soap-opera and maybe still a little cheesy yet it’s more like the original film (which is the best) and is more of a girls night out event with sexy scenes to enjoy. Don’t walk out too fast…there’s an end credit scene.  I saw it in IMAX and it was great.

‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Movie Review

Again, I didn’t read any of the books yet I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st installment to this franchise. Now, the storyline is weak in this sequel yet how many women are watching for a storyline, IJS. Well, there’s more of what the ladies want to see 🙂 This is definitely a chick flick although I saw a few men (‘John Wick’ is for them this weekend). Thankfully the next movie ‘Freed’ will hit the big screen next year, 2018! Stay in your seats for a post credit scene.

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movie Review

Fifty shades new banner

I was pleasantly surprised that the movie is not “dark” like the media portrays it. I haven’t read the book(s) yet I may now. Overall I saw this movie as a (different kind) of love story. Anastasia is no pushover and Christian learns he has to chase her which is different for him to chase any woman. This is a chick flick but men will enjoy what they’re seeing, lol. The music soundtrack is really nice.
