The sequel doesn’t disappoint! We know how the monster looks yet I still jumped a lot. I enjoyed the back story and the added characters. I’m hoping the third installment in this franchise keeps the story telling going! This one got the box office back right. No end of credits trailer.

Now, everyone knows I’m not a fan of horror films yet I thought this one would be more of a thriller and all of the trailers really had me interested in this film. Well, approximately the first 20 minutes are without words. Yes, there’s a monster, lol, but not too scary that I couldn’t handle those scenes. Very intense yet pretty good. The ending could have been a bit different as I didn’t like one outcome.

INTENSE and it’s a hard movie to refer people to go and see. Based on true accounts from the 1967 riot in Detroit this movie focuses on the murders of three young men at the Algier’s motel. Is the movie totally factual? No. I had a quick conversation with a relative of Fred Temple’s and the movie does not tell the story of what actually happened and I noticed a couple things that didn’t tie in well. What’s important about this movie is that it depicts a big part of history that I wasn’t as aware of as I thought. I was sad, angry and drained all at the same time. The worst thing about the movie is that the same senseless murders by police officers are still happening in 2017 and even with modern technology from cell phone videos etc… bad cops are still getting away with murder. Not all cops are bad cops…I know of good ones. I believe there will be Oscar nominations as this movie had stellar performances.

This is a wonderful nature film for the entire family to enjoy. Venturing into the wilds of China, “Born in China” captures intimate moments with a panda and her growing cub, a young golden monkey who feels displaced by his baby sister, and a mother snow leopard struggling to raise her two cubs. This film celebrates the annual Earth day.

Loosely based on the true story is this film about an American Ambassador killed during an attack at a U.S. compound in Libya as a security team struggles to make sense out of the chaos. The action “war” scenes are what you expect from a Michael Bay film. I feel like I need to see this one again as I wasn’t drawn to the storyline.

Well, not bad at all like critics are saying. This movie is slow yet I enjoyed the humor and romance. I’m a sucker for any movie/backdrop of Hawaii, lol, beautiful scenery. A great ensemble cast for a script that doesn’t showcase them well enough.
