‘The Star’ Movie Review

What a wonderful family movie for this Season! The story of Jesus’ birth is told in an animated version beautifully done. Laughs, great music and a good time for all in this all-star ensemble (voiced) cast.

‘My Little Pony’ Movie Review

This is a great family animated movie. Most of the humor is definitely for the youngsters yet the young at heart will enjoy it.

‘The Peanuts Movie’ Movie Review

I’m somewhat of a Peanuts fan yet I knew I would catch this comic strip on the big screen. The demographic is definitely for younger viewers. I didn’t think the dialogue was driven to interest tweens and adults (even clean family friendly jokes). Yes, there are jokes and this will probably be the #1 movie this weekend but I thought it could have been better. I saw it in 3D but I don’t think spending the extra money is worth it.

‘Rio 2’ Movie Review

I consider this movie an animated musical, lol, lots of singing and dancing that could bore an adult yet I’m sure children will totally enjoy all the entertainment on screen. There’s some humor for adults and the screen is lush in color with lots of blue (like smurfy blue). The 3D effects are pretty good.
