‘Ozark’ Netflix TV Series Review

Ozark

So, I was probably one of ten people on Earth that didn’t have a Netflix account. I watched Season 1 fast; I watched Season 2 even faster, lol. I then learned that Season 3 was already uploaded and hurried to watch it. I am completely a fan of this cleaver, funny, dramatic, crime-filled thrilling and compelling series. Season 4 has been confirmed! A must watch series in my opinion.

‘The Dinner’ Movie Review

Overall there are two affluent families where their respective sons commit a crime.  The families use their influence and meet many times on how to handle what their sons did.

‘Nocturnal Animals’ Movie Review

I had high hopes for this much anticipated thriller and for the most part it lived up to the hype. The screenplay of the book was “the movie” in my opinion as it was suspenseful and intense. What’s unclear to me is a final scene…I don’t know who pulled the trigger. Some of the movie (the book) is very hard to watch. Overall, it’s a pretty good movie and it held my attention the entire time.

‘Sully’ Movie Review

Based on the miraculous true story and book we get to see what actually happened on this flight as it descended to the Hudson River. I found this movie incredibly moving…even to tears. It’s not often that a potential tragic accident can turn into a miraculous landing on water and 155 people surviving. There’s footage at the end of movie of Captain Sully meeting with the real passengers from the flight. I saw it in IMAX and as usual it was a great experience.

‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows’ Movie Review

This is the sequel to the blockbuster reboot two years ago. I didn’t find the storyline as engaging but overall I enjoyed it. It’s a summertime popcorn movie and a great viewing experience in IMAX 3D.

‘Mr. Holmes’ Movie Review

Mr. Holmes banner

Here’s a Summertime movie to escape the heat and relax in a slow moving yet typical Sherlock Holmes format. No big action scenes yet a storyline or two to follow with humor and a bit of mystery. Not bad; great for a family viewing.
