This movie so reminded me of the National Treasure movie franchise and I liked it. The storyline is weak with unrealistic scenes yet I enjoyed the adventure. There are two end credit scenes.

Due to the pandemic, this nostalgic animated re-boot has been released directly to streaming platforms. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a Scooby movie or episode so some of the characters (villains) I had forgotten about. I did like how it was explained how Shaggy and Scooby first met. It’s decent for a nostalgic animated revisit that the family can enjoy together.

This wanna be dynamic duo doesn’t earn the title. The chemistry is choppy and the comedic scenes are mostly corny. There’s some action that gets you through the movie.

I was expecting the usual Holiday comedy from Mark Wahlberg, yet this movie also has a lot of heart. This is a great Season to bring light to the process of families wanting to adopt children and the ups and downs of the blending and the system to make it happen. Based on a true story.

The storyline is not clear, therefore, it makes no sense for the most part. This movie is about high intensity action scenes and it delivers. Some scenes are gory. Good to see Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan (Maggie) on the big screen.

I was hoping this film was a close depiction of the true story but it not yet it’s still a good movie. I read up on the facts of the movie and the details surrounding the kidnapping and death of the elder Getty are not true to fact. The kidnapping is before my time yet it is intriguing and movie held my attention and me wanting to know how this turns out. Great acting.

Here’s the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Daddy’s Home’. I think sequels have so much pressure on them and I still feel the same way. The jokes weren’t as funny and fluent to me. Some scenes are unrealistic yet I did laugh. The movie lover in me enjoyed the theatre scene towards the end of the movie. There’s an end credit scene yet it’s not anything worth staying for (I just happened to still be sitting there).

This is another franchise that I’m a BIG fan of so for the most part the director can do no wrong. What I enjoyed most is that the franchise brought back familiar faces (and a last name) from the first three films (not Tyrese though, which I missed and the newcomer love interest for Mark Wahlberg is a dead ringer for Megan Fox). Lots of action and humor. I saw it in Dolby and it was great! My next viewing will be in IMAX 3D. And YES, there is an end credit scene not long after the movie ends (nothing when the screen goes black).

Of course based (closely) on the true story, this movie is to say the least, a wonderfully acted movie that bring you to tears and have you applauding after the movie (and maybe during). Be prepared for very gory scenes. There’s a riveting scene by actress, Khandi Alexander, portraying an interrogator (award worthy to me; she’s also mama Pope on #Scandal).
