The main public library in Cincinnati is commandeered by (homeless) locals who frequent the library for “all” resources. A Winter freeze hits and they have no place to go and a sit in starts with a couple of unsuspected people joining the cause. There’s humor in a situation that’s real to a lot of people.

Well, I had no preconceived opinions so I had an open mind. This movie is straight up URBAN with no chaser. This reboot to a famous franchise is a win for me! Superfly to say the least is “pretty” in a good way, lol) sexy, strong with lots of swagger! I was engaged the entire movie although there are some cheesy scenes. It’s ends for a possible sequel or a franchise of new films. Definitely worth checking out!

Another true story based on the non-fiction book ‘Unlikely Angel’ by Ashley Smith. Compelling to say the least that one would survive such an encounter. The journey of the lead characters actually leads them both to doing the right thing in the end; Maras’ character actually read the top selling book “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren to her kidnapper. Both have or had dark situations yet David Oyelowo’s character really becomes violent and a murderer. The movie is a bit slow even though is not a long movie. There are a few scenes that no words are spoken.

Based on a true story, a news reporter gets info on the U.S./CIA allowing guns and drugs into the U.S. Rick Ross who was a big drug dealer is apart of this huge story yet the notoriety of this story mostly went unknown because it came to the surface at the same time of the Clinton/Lewinsky sexual tryst. The reporter who exposed this story was unable to get work again in Media and he later committed suicide.
