‘Late Night’ Movie Review

Written by Mindy Kaling, she portrays a woman of color in a male dominated career yet the only other female, her boss, reminds her of this and makes the work place worst. Laughs with unexpected endearing moments.

‘Ocean’s 8’ Movie Review

This is definitely a girls night out movie for Summer time fun. The storyline is not as tricky as the original Ocean’s movies yet it’s worth checking out. Lots of familiar faces in the ensemble cast with LOTS of cameos from celebrities. Laughs with a little mystery.  I waited until the credits finished and there wasn’t an end credit scene.  I saw it in Dolby and it was great.

‘A Wrinkle in Time’ Movie Review

Based on the book of the same name, Ava Duvernay brings her version of the book to the big screen. The movie is full of lush colors and fantasy filled scenes yet I couldn’t connect to the overall storyline.

‘Inside Out’ Movie Review

What a clever storyline for an animated film. I enjoyed the depiction of emotions in all of the characters (more shown in end credit scene). Fun for all ages. I saw it in RealD 3D…good but not necessary; the screen is always pretty in Disney Pixar movies.
