‘Chaos Walking’ Movie Review

I’m a big sci-fi fan and this one would have won me over if there wasn’t “so much” chaos going on the inner voice talking. The men on the planet have this what I call a flaw of their inner voices being audible. There was too much of it and it became annoying.

‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ Movie Review

Jumanji 2

The 2nd installment to the re-boot has new avatars that add a flare to the video game storyline. It was a bit hard for me to keep up with who was who in and out of the game. Not as good as the last film yet a decent enough popcorn Holiday release movie.

‘Midway’ Movie Review

Based on the true story of another attack from the Japanese towards Americans after Pearl Harbor. Midway is an Island near Hawaii that was the next step in the Japanese to invade the Mainland. Heroism from U.S. forces ended their plans. I was totally engaged and enjoyed the history lesson. I viewed the movie in Dolby.

‘Ugly Dolls’ Movie Review

Ugly dolls

This animated musical is best for those who love lots of singing. The storyline is geared towards those who are being bullied or feel like an outcast. Cute but it didn’t hold my attention.

‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ Movie Review

I vaguely remember the original Jumanji and I was hoping this reboot made it their own…and they did.  Very funny movie (especially Kevin Hart scenes) with lots of fun adventurous scenes that have a beautiful Hawaiian backdrop.  There’s a bit of profanity and I thought a little too much exaggeration on the transformation of body “part” from the teenage girl to a middle age man.  I saw it in Real D 3D and it was pretty good.  Some of the cgi is a bit cheesy.
