‘Everything, Everything’ Movie Review

Everything Everything banner

This is a coming of age movie in my opinion.  Based on the best seller novel (that I didn’t read) this movie’s demographic is tweens.   First love, first experience being in love and a controlling love are all explored in this movie.

‘The 5th Wave’ Movie Review

The 5th Wave banner

I had high hopes for this sci-fi flick but found I couldn’t really connect to the storyline(s); it felt like two different storylines were going on and they just kinda connected towards the end of the movie. The demographic I think will enjoy this movie are tweens. I think it could have been much better. Alex Roe, new to me on the big screen is a cutie.

‘Jurassic World’ Movie Review

Jurassic World poster 1

Wow, what a great reboot to this classic dinosaur movie! I totally enjoyed the movie as will any fan of this franchise. I saw it in 3D and I didn’t notice that many effects to justify paying for it (I caught an advance screening). I plan to see it in IMAX and I’m sure that crisp quality will be great. I did find it annoying that Bryce Dallas Howards character, Claire, kept her high heels on throughout the movie, lol, and Chris Pratt’s character, Owen, did joke about it. Summer popcorn movie!

‘The Kings of Summer’ Movie Review

A surprisingly witty and funny storyline about 2 teenaged boys wanting to find their way without their parents in their lives. They mature through an experience and it defines their friendship also with another friend, Biaggio, whose character is hilarious.
