‘A Quiet Place’ Movie Review

Now, everyone knows I’m not a fan of horror films yet I thought this one would be more of a thriller and all of the trailers really had me interested in this film.  Well, approximately the first 20 minutes are without words.  Yes, there’s a monster, lol, but not too scary that I couldn’t handle those scenes.  Very intense yet pretty good. The ending could have been a bit different as I didn’t like one outcome.

‘Wonder’ Movie Review

Wonder movie banner

What a “wonder”ful movie that is full of heart! Based on the best selling book (and there’s a real Auggie as well) the struggle for a little boy with a facial difference to blend in at school and life in general is explored. There’s a scene in the movie where Auggie asks why everyone thinks he’s ugly? A girl in the theatre burst into tears. This is a good movie done well.
